my boyfriends father took him out back and let him pee on rocks and he thought it was the best, i was told it only took him a week and he was almost fully potty trained, however then for awhile when in public when he saw a large rock he would ask if he could pee on itMy little boy wants to pee standing up. Assuming the father isn't on the scene (or the answer would be fairly obvious), does he have a brother or cousins who could show him? If not simply stand behind him, show him how to hold his penis over the toilet bowl and give him something to aim for. It won't take him long to figure it out.
make a game out of it.Put cherrios in the toilet and tell him to aim for them so he keeps it in the toilet and not on the seat or on the side.He will love to go because it is fun for him.Reward him if he gets most of the cheerios by giving him a piece of candy or letting him watch 10 minutes of extra cartoons
ok so he wants to stand up.. that's half the battle with boys.. just teach him aim.. he will get the whole concept on his own. Kids are way smarter than we give them credit for. He already figured is better to stand , right?
