Girls and guys advice?

I've dressed really preppy for pretty much all my junior high and high school years so far. I am a senior and I want to change.. be different. I want to wear like straight leg jeans with cute plain shirts and cute neclaces. just dress more classy then just your average hollister and abercrombie. My boyfriend doesn't think that I should But i really want to :) give me some advice!Girls and guys advice?
Right on! It's awesome that you're dressing the way you want and not how everyone says you should. My first 3 years in high school I pretty much just dressed like how everyone else did but my senior year I just decided it didn't matter and started doin my own thing.





Now, about what you wanna wear, I'm gonna be honest and say If I were your boyfriend, I wouldn't care what you wore as long as you still looked good and did not let yourself go.Girls and guys advice?
i personally think you should.... if you're going to college... it will give you a way chance to start new and fresh. If you're going for a more classy look, just go get some Hanes, white v-necks. They are cheap and easy to style with high waisted skirts, skinny jeans, scarves, shorts, and just about anything. I would also get some converse or keds and skinny jeans. These types of things are easy to style in MANY different ways. If you are unhappy in the direction you are going with your style, it will be easy to change, because these things go with everything.
You should always have your own style and not conform and any genre or brand. Wear what you feel comfortable in and what you think looks good on your body. You boyfriend is weird if he cares that much about your clothing style.

Yeah i have the same problem. I have dressed in abercrombie and hollister all my life and i wanted a change. I started leaning towards Pacsun. instead of going for the brand name i went for what i really really like. Try pacsun, forever21, and Charlotte russe. try not to go to stores that people wear.

here is a really ez tip. Find a celebrity who dresses really classy and recreate some of there looks. i love angelina jolie, gwen stephanni, and cameron diaz. that ez get to recreating and good luck in your change. btw ur bf might not noitice if you make it a gradual change
SO you dont want to be goth obviously so you want to make your style kind of like laid back like mine?? I wear skinny jeans every day during the school year i wear plain shirts in all different colors i wear neclaces and bracelets and sometimes a cute jacket. I wear converse and uggs.My hair is wavy and i straighten it every da. I think that would be a good look 4 u. get black converse and brown uggs so they mach everything. And buy brown black and white jackets. im in 8th grade
