I stutter a lot when talking to guys. Any advice?

So I'm really shy and I'm even more shy when talking to guys. It doesn't matter what they look like or what their personality is or whatever, I'm always freaking out in my head and it shows when i start to talk. If i start to say something and i start to stutter, i automatically look down and bite my lip. This makes a lot of the guys think i have a thing for them when i don't(especially cause of the lip biting part). So, any advice on how to not feel so intimidated and shy around guys? thanks. I stutter a lot when talking to guys. Any advice?
i have a stutter too. its pretty apparent whenever i'm shy or nervous or even when i'm angry! i go to speech therapy but i don't think you need that though.

If you are a teenager, it is completely normal! some teens often suffer from extreme embarrassment or shyness when going through puberty!

What i can suggest is that you practice in the mirror talking to a guy or anyone else you get nervous about. you could even ask a close friend to help you with this-pretending that they are the guy!

confidence is also a main cause for stuttering. look at the mirror and remind yourself how absolutely gorgeous you really are and you will grow in confidence!

Getting to know the guy could help too. If you trust, know and feel comfortable around the guy, then it would be the same as talking to any of your other friends!! make sure you use eye contact and think about what your going to say before you say it!! good luck!
