Okay, well, as a guy...
Girls don't need to get a guy. Guys, from what I know, are strongly interested in women under any circumstances unless they are not into women. What I'd suggest is approaching guys and being open to them because, sometimes, inside, we can be shy, reserved, or just clueless.
However, the big thing is finding the right guy... Not an *** or pig or a guy who says how much he loves you and flirts with you because all of us know how to play that game, but the bad ones do. Instead, you should find a guy who loves to be around you, whether in public or not or whether its sexual or not... a guy who likes to be who he is with you and someone who, aside from being just a guy, is like a friend.
If a guy thinks he's god's gift to women or thinks he's attractive or the best thing ever, don't go near him. Go for a genuine guy who likes to be who he is and likes to be who he is around you, not putting up a front for you or his friends... and who likes to talk to you. =]
In review, finding the guys is easy if you're just open and go to them. For every girl looking for ';the guys';, theirs TONS of guys looking for ';the girl[s]';.
